We were all SOO SOO sad to learn last Sunday (September 7, 2008) that "The Swing" at Hill Lake was chopped down, along with the steps leading to the 'platform' - one must step up on to reach the handle of the swing. The sad news was broke to us by Emily & Dean VerBurg, when they returned on the Dune Buggy. The 'Mystery' remains as to who took it down. Was it vandalism, or did the DNR take it down worried that someone would get hurt???Friday, September 12, 2008
